The Timeline apps on Facebook

Announced at the Facebook f8 in september, the Timeline applications are now released on Facebook. Those applications use the brand new Facebook Open Graph that allows not only to say that you « like » a content but also to say that you « cook », you « run », you « watch », and many more. This allows a more advanced qualification of social network users. Thus, brands can easily target their ads based on users actions.

Sixty applications are out and will increase the number of social interactions among members but also from members to brands. We already knew the Deezer and Spotify applications, today Dailymotion, Cinemur or Tickmaster are now on Facebook. Others like l’Equipe are scheduled to gradually enrich this brand new collection of applications.
