Kontest presents the periodic contests!

Thanks to you, we have been busy during the last few months! In order to meet your ideas, suggestions and of course in order to satisfy you, the Kontest team is proud to present the new features of the platform! Here is what you can find in the HappyFlow version of Kontest : Periodic contests with the draw at end of period or the end of the contest Compatibility with HTTPS on Facebook Tracking pixel integration Improvment of the mobile version More new features are coming! But you will need to be patient. 🙂 Periodic contests Now a Premium contest can be divided into several sub-periods if it’s a quiz, a sweepstake or a poll! How does it work? When you choose the dates of your contest, you can also choose how many sub-periods you want. A small calendar of the periods will appear to make it clear for you. The minimum duration for each sub-period is 1 day. All the sub-periods will have the same duration. You can then define a set of questions for each sub-period if you have created a quiz. The questions will change each time a sub-period begins. Same thing for the prizes: you may very well offer different gifts for each sub-period. You also have the choice for the selection of the winners: you can decide to do it at the end of each sub-period or do it once your contest is completely finished. Of course you can download the database of participants at the end of each sub-period (and contact them when the next sub-period begins) or download the complete database at the end of the contest. By instance: Imagine a brand of extreme sports equipment that wants to offer a gift...

People are talking about your fanpage on Facebook

Here is a new feature on your Facebook fanpage: besides the number of « Like » accumulated, an additional indicator appears. This is a counter called « Are talking about » preceded by a figure. This figure show the engagement of your fans toward your brand on Facebook. For each share, comment, « like » on a publication, check-in or tag, the counter gets additional unit. The number of fans is not important after all : the engagement of these fans is a much more relevant metric. This will push the brand to offer content with a viral potential corresponding to the target and highlight this content rather than recruiting new members without thinking. Moreover, the statistics of your fan page, the « insights » will also be improved to give you more awareness on the impact of your various social actions and offer operations ever closer to your fans expectations. Edit : Download the guide made by Facebook to help you to understand these new...

Facebook introduces Timeline and many other new features!

Lots of new features appeared this week on Facebook. Mark Zuckerberg did not stop in a so good way and announced extra new features at the f8 which was took place in San Francisco. Facebook has now more than 800 million active users per month, 350 million of them use their mobile phone to connect! All this information is available on the official statistics page that has been updated yesterday. Nice surprise for those users: Facebook offer them a whole new profile pages: the Timeline. On September 30, everyone will have access to this new feature. Timeline enables users to have a real time curve on their personal page. We can then easily see the highlights of the life of a person from her registration on Facebook and even from birth. The presentation has been completely changed and many things like photos, videos, and status updates are displayed according to the date they were added to the profile. Some new items also appear: the maps where we can see where a person checked-in, and special spaces where we can know which pages this person is a fan of and even what applications shes used in the past. To be informed about the public availability of this real online autobiography see the dedicated page on Facebook! Applications are implemented in a much more important way in the new profiles. Facebook has now partnerships with major companies working in the web and multimedia allowing more social interactions between brands and users. here is an example: If one of your friends listen to a song on Spotify, a message will be pushed on his profile and on the newsfeed that will allow you to click to listen to this very same song....
