New Facebook fan pages on march, 10.

Last mounth, Facebook announced the new features and the new layout of your Fan pages. You can now upgrade your pages in their new version by visiting this url: www.facebook.com/pages/status/. Or you can wait for March, 10 and all Facebook fan pages will update automatically. Good news! Kontest competitions currently underway or about to be launched are 100% compatible with this new version of Facebook. Contest on Facebook : consequences of non compliance

Kiabi had decided to hold a contest on its fan page encouraging users to participate through the wall, but this is contrary to the rules of Facebook. Indeed, a competition must always be organized in a dedicated application in a fan page tab. You can read our post : « Contests on Facebook : reminder of the rules. » This incident is very regrettable because it stops abruptly Kiabi’s efforts while it is a leading company which seems perfectly handle this marketing tool. When are Facebook users the most active?

A couple of months ago, Mashable posted a very interesting study from Vitrue dealing with the behavior of Facebook users.. They found out interesting facts : The peaks of conversations take place on weekdays at 11am, 3pm and 8pm. Moreover, the largest one is at 3pm. People are less active on sundays.
